If you have identify with one or all of the following description then I think you are at the right place. Social Learning is an online platform that has been designed with you, a fellow student in mind. We have lived your frustrations, concerns and joys of studying through correspondence at the University of South Africa (UNISA). We are one of you.

We have developed a number of strategies that will assist you in making your studies a success. We can assist you in the following ways:
  • We can assist you by partnering you with a study groups.
  • No study group for your module. No problem. We will give you the tools you need to start and manage your own study group.
  • We can assist you with up-to-date exam papers, notes and connect you with other students and mentors that have a firm grasp of the content that you are studying.
  • Having sleepless nights with your long to-do lists? Not anymore. We have the answer to your management stress. We offer a number of tools and strategies that will assist you to manage your work, family and study load that will not leave you exhausted. We also give you personal support during the semester by monitoring your progress as it happens.
  • Best of all, we are always looking for organizations and partners that will engage and enhance your experience  with your studies. There will be a number of workshops and practicals that will be open to our community.
Our aim is to connect you with the right people, to give you the support you need and to help you succeed within your degree. Therefore we have developed a full participation clause to ensure that all the members within our community gets the right connections, support and success they deserve.

We discourage the following individuals from joining our community.
  • Those that are looking for a free ride, all the answers without giving back to the community.
  • Individuals that are not serious about their academic goals.
  • Too busy to assist others with their areas of weakness and concerns.
  • Know it alls, disrespectful and hateful individuals
  • Spies, thieves and hackers
If this is you. Then this is not the place for you and we wish you all the best with your studies. On the contrary, we have a special idea of the individuals that we are here to assist.

We are looking for students that are
  • Passionate, hungry and driven to reach their academic goals.
  • Give their studies the time and dedication it deserves
  • Willing to assist others within our community with their questions and concerns.
  • Students that will fully participate within discussion and debates around assignments, exam preparation and sticky issues.
  • Individuals that are studying Psychology at the University of South Africa (UNISA)
